Dr. L.K. Gandhi established Delhi Dental Centre in the year 1978 at C-56 South Extn-II, New Delhi, India.
He was awarded Padmashri in 1992 by His Excellency, President of India.
Dr L K Gandhi was the former Hon. Dental Surgeon to President and prime minister of India.
He also rendered his expertise to various ministries like petroleum and gas, Parliamentary Affairs and ministry of health.
He was also the former Hon. Dental surgeon to governor of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and West Bengal.
He was assigned as Dental Surgeon to His Excellency the Ambassador of USA and Switzerland to India.
He has been in command of various associating Societies Academics, Committee of National and International repute.
He is the Past President of Commonwealth Dental Association, Past President of Int College of Dentists, Past President of IDA, Chairman of Commission on Oral Diseases Asia pacific Dental Federation, Chairman High Powered National Action Committee.
He acquired fellowships in:
- American College of Dentists,
- International college of Dentists and memberships in Pierre Fauchard Academy and American Dental Association (ADA). He has made a significant contribution in the field of Dentistry in India.
He was the convener of the committee for amendments to the dentist Act 1948.
Dr Gandhi Brought to the notice of the Commonwealth and British Dental Association that Dentistry in our country was growing most haphazardly in the absence of National oral Health policy. |
